decided to stay with CB12

I wonder if the ChessBase Online function will soon stop working on CB12 - I remember that it stopped working on CB11 when CB13 came out! Sad

I looked at it but couldn't see enough significant improvements and decided to stay with CB12.  I'll be interested to hear how you like it after you have some time with it.

Anyone else make the jump? That 25% off sale the first day sealed it for me. One change I like is that you no longer have to do replace game to update a game in the db. Save works as you'd expect it to now. I haven't played around with the assisted analysis or tactical analyis features yet, but that looks interesting. I was moving from cb12 so the cloud db bits are new to me as well. Another change I like is that now when you use the find similar structures, endgames, and moves buttons it brings up the filter dialog to show you the mask it is using and allows you to modify it. Another thing that I don't remember from 12 is when you open a game there is a drop down list in the ribbon that lets you choose the ref db to use for that session.
