Interesting - I expected a Nimzo plus QGD book would go for ...d5 lines in the former - is ...c5 the choice against 4 f3 too?

I guess what I meant to say was that since it was repertoire book, it would be nice to see at least a chapter on 3. exd5. I can understand omitting sidelines on move 1 or 2, but 3. exd5 would have made it more complete.

Otherwise the book seems quite good to me.

Still, there is 3. Cf3 d5 4. exd5 exd5. Not critical as Cge2 systems, but some guidance would be good.

White can't reach the main lines of the Bg5+Nf3 Exchange because of 3. Nf3 d5 4. cd ed 5. Nc3 Be7 6. Bg5 c6 7. Qc2 g6, which is considered an equalizer.  But sure, there could be some coverage of it (as well as with Bf4).

In case anyone else is as confused as I was, the book is on the QGD not the 333E333C355201.

My apologies, that was a typo. I changed the title.

Well, there is the fact that he's not allowing the critical 3. Nc3 d5 4. cd ed 5. Bg5 stuff.

I could find not thread for this book. In any case, am I missing something, but where is coverage of the Exchange Variation?
