you guys are always perfect with your responses. My god I cant believe it, hopefully I find what I need in those links.

Computer specs for instant spit out engine moves cant be that hard to know, its memory (ram), harddrive space, processor, and cores.

I just dont know the specs!

A couple of 2017 articles.

Another option is a NUC. A couple of 2020 articles.

There are simpler ways to do that, but you have to figure it out.

The last option is to rent time on the cloud, either a cloud engine, which is pretty simple to set up ...
e.g. ChessBase cloud engine, or

... or a generic server instance where you run your own engine. This second way would be a lot like the NUC in level of difficulty.

Hi I want to setup a chess lab and wanted to know if anyone knew the computer specs needed to have a chess engine feed you the best moves fast. Does anyone know? specially running the engine feeding you the next Id say 7 best candidate moves.

For instance I know people that study the traxler with a computer so they  need good computers to find the best moves of that complex opening.
