Antique that I am, I often use Stockfish in the Arena (3.5.1) chess GUI -- and rightly or wrongly I sometimes leave it running at 40 moves in 2 hours on its Demo setting, when the engine plays itself (how many GUIs can do that?) ...

I've just got a new laptop, spec as below. When 'analysing' with Stockfish as above, how many cores should i use (and reduce them to for shorter time limits?)? I understand my processor has 4 cores, 8 threads.
