	RE: the original question. I also prefer to get my puzzle material from books. Books are better in so many ways which I won't list here, but an overlooked feature of books is they are not "gamified". cathexis hinted at this when he said with a book there is no time limit.

	But cathexis posted his typo at 14:16:52 and could not edit at 14:24:27 . That's less than 8 minutes, so something else is going on. Edited: As expected, I have Modify under Post Tools. I first posted at 03:48:33 and it is now 05:18:xx. If I remember correctly, Modify has always been there for my posts. Edits made soon after the initial post are silent; those made long after are marked with a last-modified date and time.

	cathexis - I've encountered this limitation too. From my experience, I can edit my own posts for at least a few hours after they go up. However, at some point, that editing privilege goes away. This seems to happen about a day after posting, although I don't know the exact time. Perhaps one of the more experienced posters can fill us in.

	I prefer physical books as I can settle into my chair with a notebook to record answers and no time limit. Probably not what most due (on-line puzzle races) but gives me access to a lot of classical material.

	I’ve been trying to improve my chess tactics and I’m looking for good websites that focus mainly on puzzles and tactical training. I’m interested in hearing what people actually prefer for learning through puzzles, especially for themes like: * Forks * Pins * Skewers * Discovered attacks * Double attacks
