	It could be worth a deeper look, at least it has some potential to create a mess for an unprepared white player... I looked a little at 8...dxe5 that has some tactical points, but probably not enough to make it work in analysis, e.g: [pgn]1. e4 Nf6 2. e5 Nd5 3. c4 Nb6 4. d4 d6 5. f4 Bf5 6. Nc3 Nc6 7. 	Wow!.. Strange novelty by a 2500+ player.. ..And a complete rubbish which loses almost by force. By the way, great play by Bromberger till 11.exf7+ (which is inferior to 11.Nh3).. As for the soundness of 7...g5, I doubt it in view of the following variation: Download game in pgn format I suppose black was out of preparation after 10.e6 (or even after 8.g4).. Who knows?!

Bundesliga 2011/2012 Jenbach (9.1), 20.04.2012 [Robot 8] 1.e4 Nf6 2.e5 Nd5 3.c4 Nb6 4.d4 d6 5.f4 Bf5 6.Nc3 Nc6 7.Be3 g5 8.g4 gxf4 9.gxf5 fxe3 10.e6 Qc8 11.exf7+ Kd8 12.Bh3 h5 13.f6 Qb8 14.Nge2 Bh6 15.Rg1 exf6 16.Rg8+ Ke7 17.Rxb8 Raxb8 18.c5 1-0 The "ugly" move 7...g5 appears to be new. Recently, the White player has already played the 4PA against the Alekhine, at least two times. Thus, it might be the case that Black made some preparation. In fact a brief evaluation with Rybka shows that 7...g5 appears to be sound. Black was slaughtered but both players did not play the best moves. In some cases, Black played poorly, perhaps because White did not follow the recommended moves and Black appeared to be soon out of preparation. Interesting because this move appears to sound (in fact, sounder than 5...g5)
