I'd be more intrigued on what he pulls off for white in the super-drawish Grunfeld line with ...c6 and ...d5.

I am also interested in the Fianchetto KID. But I do wonder if Avrukh's coverage will be accessible enough for me since I have so little experience with it. But, I will still buy it all the same.

First of all, I did not quote myself. Secondly, the context should make things clear (note the words "long term"). I was referring to the bishop being outside the pawn chain, a positional advantage. Lastly, language is naturally imprecise and some informal writing on a forum will have multiple interpretations. When the author explains his point of view and you understand it, debating further about the meaning is irrational.

My emphasis.  I hardly think that my equation of this to '=+' was a "huge exaggeration."  But if you now wanted to retract this exaggerated claim, I would understand why.

I have failed to find any += after Kaufman's move.
He is supposed to have used some Rybka 3.x with IDeA on strong HW, for very deep analysis. 

I agree that in some of Avrukh's lines (...Bf5 and Be4/Bg4) white goes very far to get the bishop pair. It looks suspicious and perhaps you have to be a very strong player to able to make use of the bishop pair in those ugly positions with Nh4, f3, locked in bishop at c1/d2 and/or some doubled pawn.

Also, often he only has one non-obvious move for white that leads to a +=. In soundly good positions, you typically have more than one good move.

However, the b3 setup seems to work excellently against both the Meran setup and any ...a6 plans (because delayed Nc3), as Avrukh shows.

I am not sure how "Black can even be said to have a long term advantage" can be misread, especially if you continue to explain how White's attempts fail. I have also read your "explanation" above, but simply think you contradict yourself.
It's no big deal to me, but you have caused the confusion yourself.
  
The book had the effect good books usually have: it made the stupids more stupid, the intelligent more intelligent and the other thousands of readers remained unchanged.
