Anti-Dutch, 2.Nc3
Hello,
Clearly 1.d4 f5 2.Nc3 is a logical choice for my repertoire as a Trompowsky player. My question is about the following line I noticed in an old book I was browsing through not long ago. ... Started 05/04/04 at 02:00:55 by PoisonedPawn (Guest) |

Leningrad - Secret Weapon?!
Hello friends,
short time after KINDERMANN's book was published, the "early b4 system" was tested by HUEBNER & DAUTOV on same day in GERMAN BUNDESLIGA (19.10.2002). Both are clubmates and in... Started 08/20/04 at 21:03:42 by SutterCane |

move order in the 2.Nc3 Dutch
This weekend I faced an interesting move order in the 2.Nc3 Dutch. After 1.d4 f5 2.Nc3 Nf6 3.Bg5 d5 4.Bxf6 exf6 5.e3 Be6 6.Qf3 Nc6 my opponent played 7.Nge2. In the game 7...Qd7 8.Nf4 0-0-0 9.Nxe6?! Q...

g4 Dutch Gambit

Re: 1.d4 f5 2.Nc3 can black spice this up?
The whole 2.Nc3 g6 line has 'disaster' written all over it from Black's point of view. It is simply asking for trouble.
