A Happy Easter to you too, SutterCane!

The "egg" was a slightly unsweet one, since the implication is that the Mousetrap is a serious idea! The good tidings were that with the move order 1 e4 b6 2 d4 e6, Black can prevent it.

What would be a truly delicious "egg" would be your further thoughts/insights re your 9 ...Nc6!? 10 b4 g5!? system in the main line (where did Black go wrong in the recent Kreisl--Aschenbrenner game?), and the related Black ideas mentioned in my 20 Feb. post in the Bauer book thread. And of course a game or two of yours would truly make my egg-cup run over! Tongue
