I really enjoy reading and studying Rogozenko's work on the Sveshnikov, so it was a joy to go through parts of it again and refresh my memory.  The essays and evaluations in this book are so insightful, I just love studying the Sveshnikov for either color because of this book!  Many people, including strong IM's and GM's think the Sveshnikov is a boring opening, but I find it highly interesting, maybe I'm just a chess peon though!

Here is Rogozenko's opinion regarding 13...Be6 and 13...O-O:

"This line (13...0-0) is currently more fashionable than 13...Be6, which can be explained by the fact that Sveshnikov specialists such as Kramnik and Leko these days prefer to play 13...0-0.  In my opinion 13...0-0 is not theoretically superior to 13...Be6, but 13...0-0 leads to a different type of position, which in many ways is more attractive.  Black often gets the chance to attack the opponent's king--a rare event in the 13...Be6 line.  On the other hand White also has many resources here, so 13...0-0 leads to interesting double-edged play."
