Today I've reiceived a letter from an old friend:

Dear Templare2

I was so glad to get your letter. It's quite a confort to hear you after  30 years.

Not long from now, I'll be leaving the North Pole for my long
trip on Christmas. Although it's a long journey, I am looking 
forward to visiting Chess Publishing.com


I must go now to check on the busy little elves in the workshop 
where they are making all the  gifts for the good boys 
and girls. I think I saw them making a new update for you!
We will be loading the sleigh soon!

The reindeer and I are planning to reach Chess Publishing.com
just after midnight to deliver the October update. Please be sure that Tony hangs the stocking and be in bed early.

How about a young gun, on the up eg England's boards 3 (David Howell although I appreciate he is more Grunfeld) or 4 (Gawain Jones) at the recent Olympiad ?

Yes, apparently! PK has already given up although he is now two months behind!! Time to look for a long-term replacement again, requiring: good English, good KID knowledge, and ... punctuality!! Roll Eyes

Basically seems that a number of pro chessplayers may never have had a 'proper' job where such things as reliability and punctuality are required as standard practice.

Maybe the new FIDE rules introduced for the Dresden Olympiad obliging players to actually be present at the start of games may improve timekeeping, increase watch-wearing and filter down to Tony's crew in time....

Either that or just find reliable contributors in all sections. Can it be that hard...?

I've just recently become a member of chesspublishing.com and I joined three sessions: the french, d4 d5 and king's indian. But now nearly in the middle of november there is still no update in the king's indian.

Where is it?
