I had the first volume which I found while traveling,... it was brillant.  Discussed all the major ideas,... the 2nd volume goes into the middlegames and endgames,...   I have not been able to find the books again, as I put them in a container in the attic and cannot find them,... Another book that is really first class is Jansa's book on Strategy,... but it is for the True Candidate Master or higher,...   As I said, I put these books away not because they were bad or not useful but because they were really for serious players with lots of time,... I also bought the Prichett book, but it does not hold a candle to the aforementioned book.... I will say I did get to play one of the equalising traps he recommends in the Sozin, i.e. when white does not retreat his Cardinal to b3 the Nf6:e5 idea followed by d5,...

I was wondering why there is no discussion on the OPEN Sicilian Site specifically for the Scheveningen   People still play it just look at the Gib Open, Oly 2008, etc....

Would really like some more info,...   Anyway I hope the above helps,..
