In your variation after 9.Nd3 i think that 9...e5 is not a godd move. White can simply play 10.cxd5 Nxd5 (10...cxd5 11.dxe5 Nxe5 12.Nc3 is not a great fun for Black) 11.Bxd5 cxd5 12.Qb3 and I think White enjoys the better position (at least slightly better). I did not make too deep analysis and this is my first opinion after looking at the position for about 10 minutes. Frankly speaking I prefer to play with White in this position.

In John Cox`s excellent book "Starting out: 1.d4!" he suggests playing the following line vs. the Stonewall: 1. d4 f5 2. g3 Nf6 3. Nf3 e6 4. Bg2 d5 5. O-O Bd6 6. c4 c6 7. Qc2 O-O 8. Ne5

Here in the given game Khenkin-Vaisser (http://www.chessgames.com/perl/chessgame?gid=1406918) black plays the move b6 which is shown to be inferior. Cox says "This has been the commonest move, although I am not sure it is the best." Cox doesn`t say much more than this and in my games black has always played the natural 8.. Nbd7 which seems much better. I haven`t been able to come up with any good ideas here: 9.Bf4 Bxe5 10.dxe5 Ng4, 9.Nd3 e5 and 9.f4 giving away e4 don`t seem as much for white. Any ideas?
