Well that sounds very good. I tend to agree. Its very much books against the KID. Against the Grunfeld (challenge the Grunfeld,Grunfeld for Experts,How to get an edge against the Grunfeld and Grandmaster repertoire Avrukh  and so on).. Repertoirebooks for 1.d4 players in general. I want more books on 1.e4 "The best by test" opening. I tried to get interested in playing 1.d4 (Avrukh) but I have abandomned it already. 1.e4 is for me. I will go with the "followers of Fischer"...not only because he is the greatest of all time in my view but because I just play better after 1.e4.

Wee need more repertoirebooks on 1.e4 and black dynamic repertoires like the Grunfeld and Benoni or KID. 

Enough of these "second best by test" 1.d4 opening books.
At least for a while.

I heard some rumors, that Garri is writing about the opening developements in the 90´s. Could be usefil, too.
  
The older, the better - over 2200 and still rising.

My information can be called "underground". The main goal of this site is to provide mmebers and readers all around the world with the opening theory.

Disccusing new books is just a part of intention with which is this site dealing with, so I can't see a reason why we should not announce new books.

After all about what should we talk about? About bad perception of chess players in society? When you say to the ordinary man that you play chess he would definetely conclude that you're some kind of geek/freak.  Lips Sealed

That is odd. You mean it isn't yet mandatory that  publishers announce all new books on Chess Pub. Hmm...we have to do something about that.

I searched on the Internet, but could not find any details of this book, or even any notification that the book was going to be published. If you can present a link to the site where you saw the notification for this book, then this would be much appreciated. Smiley

I'm looking forward to viewing this book - as rossia said, it's been 4 years since a repertoire book for Black on the KID has been published, making it a good opportunity for an update.
