The book should be in our office the 2nd of June, or so. We are publishing 200 hardback copies together with the usual paperback copies. This time we are selling a few hardback copies to shops all over Europe, and hopefully also 1-2 in the US.

Does anyone know when GM6 will be released? QC blog says "early May" but that was anticipated a month ago and so far there have been no further comments.

Yes, I too will be buying it: I especially liked this text from the extract - 'We are Caro Kann players, remember. Not some chaos pilots from the Kings Indian.'   
The lines fit for me, I like 5...Nc6 in the Panov and I'm looking forward to seeing which way Schandorff goes against 6.Bg5. 
I eagerly await my copy.

Interesting introduction indeed. This line is a classic: "Often White will burn his bridges in his eagerness to
attack – and if we are not mated, then we will win the endgame!" Bold - mine. 

I will buy this book, I am happy with the choices in the mainline and against the Advanced. But I will likely stick with the Karpov 6...Bb4 line against the Panov, which meshes nicely with my Nimzo repertiore

I think this thread title should now be amended to reflect the book. i.e.  GM 7.....?

I thought that that red and white volume was supposed to represent the Polish flag.

I just saw a comment by Aagard on his blog. Schandorff will recommend 5...Nc6 against the Panov.

It could be because the colour yellow amongst black on the sides resembles a light shining, and hence this showcases the Caro-Kann, the defence to 1.e4 being examined, in the limelight. Also, the bright colour yellow grabs the eye of the consumer, and the placement of the dark colour black amongst this 'light' emphasises this brightness and the front cover's appeal. If you ask me, it's a clever marketing strategy for the product by Quality Chess.
