I have the Chess Informant C45 Monograph.  It contains 4 databases in Chess Assistant, ChessBase and PGN formats (I think).  The four databases consist of:

Database 1 - 200 Annotated Lines
Database 2 - 625 Annotated Games
Database 3 - 180 Test Positions
Database 4 - 1402 Unannotated Games

The C45 monograph is OK although I prefer the ChessBase Opening CDs to the Chess Informant monographs due to text explanations of various ideas, information, etc., in the CB Opening CDs.  Its unfortunate that CB never produced one on the Scotch.

So there is no pdf file which you could print out and use like a book? Just databases?

A friend told me that not long ago the C45 monograph was published. I was planning to buy it but there is no printed version (was one available when they published it?). Has anyone bought an electronic version (this or any product from the Informator), what is their format? Is this monograph worth 25$?

As far as I know, the format is the same as for the other monographs and is the same as the ECO, but obviously in greater detail. In my opinion it is worth $25 if the opening features frequently in your repertoire as White or Black, but otherwise simply using the games from the Informant should be sufficient.
