I don't see how Christoph Scheerer could not be the first choice. He just wrote a book on the subject. He's an IM. And, he's a member here. Who else could be better qualified?

I suggest Walter Trumpf (he won the thematic BDG tournament on ICCF) - he certainly should know what is going on in the BDG....

Christoph Scheerer is probably done with the manuscript of his new BDG book and is also a member here under the handle of IM Christoph Wisnewski. When I was trying to think of someone qualified to take on a BDG update, his name was the only one I could think of!

Eric has just taken on some new responsibilities (President of Montpellier Echecs chess club!) which will be taking up a lot of his time and so I may have to find someone to replace him for a month or two, and in particular it would be nice to have a BDG update (with finally a clear refutation?!?) Roll Eyes
But who is qualified to write this update? Any ideas?
