	Л = Rook (Ladya) К = Knight (Kon') Кр = King (Korol') Ф = Queen (Fyerz which means something as Fortress) С = Bishop (Slon which means Olifant)

	Also, the google web translator isn't as horrible as the translator bots used to be. A while ago, someone posted a 50 minute video of a Tal lecture and asked for a translation. If you have short passages that you want translated, you might get a positive response here!

	A while back I bought a couple of books on the Veresov which were written in Russian. The advert said that there were symbols used instead of language -- not so. There is enough Russian there to make me want to know what it is all about. Any suggestions on how I can translate some of this (without doing a Russian language course)?
