I pre-ordered the book, but De Beste Zet has it listed as 29 June 2012:

I start loving them again after the abuse of computer-generated "and White has a slight advantage" in pgn broadcasts. On the other hand, the ubiquitous "with chances to fight for an advantage" or "with a tough struggle ahead" almost seem computer-generated as well.

Just the standard +-, +/-, +=, =, =+, -/+, -+. John's always used these in his PTF books. Everyone knows what they mean, don't they?

Surprising to see an Everyman book with Informator symbols! They generally make it a point to not use them.

A page number like "192" is meaningless, by the way. Publishers always hope for page numbers divisible by 16, since 16 pages = 1 sheet in DIN A0 format. So that's what they put into their book contracts, but authors are no robots. When you see a number not divisible by 16, then it could be the real number of pages.

I know you still do not want others to discuss your own topics of a book even though the title of the thread simply states the title of the book and you seem to criticise only me and not the others (Why criticse me and not dom (moderator) in the other thread who started the topic?) who start other extremely similar topics as mine and to which I reply to, but your insults will not command others from discussing or asking someone who worked on the book about variations covered and allowing them an opportunity to reply. Not sure why my post is criticised by you for text issues but others who have longer posts are not, unless of course, quite obviously, you simply try to discourage only my posting viable topics, but not other posters. It was a nice try, but if the thread is about the book, then about the book the posts shall be.

Perhaps better to insert spaces in the text. Tough to read like that.
Might make posts marginally more readable.

Respectfully disagree with TJ (great KG book by the way!), agree with Stefan Buecker. If his name is Mc-, then that matters. Respect to Herr Buecker for being spot on here.

My "McCutcheon" remark was not off-topic, it was merely mean and inflammatory. 

I considered to put it in "Nomenclature of Openings: Indian Jungle". But it makes sense to collect criticism on a book in one thread. John Watson may be more interested in analyses than in history, but in a few years he will write a fifth edition of his work. And then a single thread is more useful. 

A moderator can shorten or cut. Not all replies were necessary. An apology from John Watson would have sufficed.    Cool

Well, spelling MacCutcheon/McCutcheon correctly or as it's pronounced hardly matters much for practical purposes since the guy is long dead and there only is one variation with that name. - Especially when considering that we're on a forum where several people apparently see no difference between Carlsson, Carlson or Carlsen...

A section devoted to "Salivating and Speculating" is indeed a good idea, to save time for the moderators some users could be limited to that section until they get tired of it.
