Yeah its true. In ebook version its not easy to find Sad

I'm glad you've found it now. I couldn't understand how you'd managed to miss it, as Dembo's coverage of 11.Rb1 fills around four pages. It hadn't occurred to me that you might be working with the e-book! Smiley

Is this line better for white, or black can equalize?

I didn't reply to your question about the line's current status because someone else had given a very good answer in a post that has now mysteriously vanished. This line, with the inclusion of f3 (ie via 10...Bg4 11.f3 Bd7) is covered by Avrukh in his work on the Grunfeld, and I'd recommend that for a more up-to-date discussion of the line than Dembo provides.

This line was advocated by Yelena Dembo in her book about Gruenfeld:

1. d4 Nf6 2. c4 g6 3. Nc3 d5 4. cxd5 Nxd5 5. e4 Nxc3 6. bxc3 Bg7 7. Bc4 c5 8.
Ne2 Nc6 9. Be3 O-O 10. O-O Bd7 but she omnits important 11. Rb1.

No she doesn't. I've got Dembo's book in front of me and 11.Rb1 is one of the two main moves she considers (11.Rc1 is the other).
