Get him a book on the Tarrasch to appease Markovich and so that he doesn't waste his formative years playing ...f7-f5.

Bellin wrote two books on the Dutch.  At least two.

The Classical Dutch and Winning with the Dutch (iirc)


Obviously your friend doesn't need either of these or anything else, but since s/he seems to be collecting you might want to try to find the one s/he doesn't already have.

I play same way that your friend as black: French + Dutch  Smiley

I have Johnsen-Berg book on the Stonewall and I like it very much. And there's a lot of information there. A lot. At our low levels we are going to play lots of non-g3 fianchetto lines..., lots of Bb4+b6 lines... and I think the coverage of this lines are OK. Why a 1600 guy needs something more?

I am doubting about getting a subscription to chesspublishing in this section but if your friend wants something more... I don't know.

What about "The stonewall dutch" DVD by Valeri Lilov, then?
Not that know or heard anything about the quality of it.  Perhaps you should check it out a bit first.

There are also some good stonewall material in Moskalenkos book: "Revolutionize your chess". Or you can also check out the NIC Yearbooks for articles by Moskalenko on the Dutch.

This is indeed a very good book, but it's probably worth pointing out that it provides a repertoire in the Leningrad System (ie a Dutch with ...g6 rather than ...e6), which may or may not be of interest to the OP.

I'm looking for gift ideas for a Dutch Defense player, rated about 1600. This person already has Simon Williams's book on the Classical Dutch and Williams's video, as well as several books on the Stonewall and some older resources (e.g. Bellin's book on the Dutch). Are there other good resources out there that are more recent or that would be particularly valuable for a club player?
