Here is the game with musical accompaniment. (In the first edition of ECO, Hort cited it as slightly better for White after 15. Be3.)

I did a nice discovery here, I think black's best might be 7...e5!? The critical line goes 8.dxe5 dxe5 9.Bxe5 Bg4 10.Nd2 Re8 11.f4 Nc5 (or Nb4) 12.O-O Nd3 13.Nf3 Nxe5 14.Nxe5 Be6

if white insists he can still play 6...Na6 7.O-O e5 8.dxe5 dxe5 9.Qxd8 Rxd8 10.Bg5 (or 10.Be3), not dangerous at all but maybe not what black would like to see either

I've seen at least one Perelshteyn video in Chesslectures.com on this variation, in which he specializes. He really knows the line.

Yeah, it's very good. I also have the Chebanenko Slav one by Kritz, that's very good as well.

I think that indeed the main idea of 6...Na6 is to avoid the Exchange Variation (something like 7. 0-0 e5 8. de would be a particularly harmless version of it).

I believe 7. Bf4 has generally been considered the main independent move.  I notice that Panczyk and Ilczuk (in their Classical KID book of a few years ago) thought 7. Nd2 deserving of attention.

Besides ChessPublishing and the Bojkov DVD from Chessbase (very good!), there are chapters on 6.../7...Na6 in older books by Gallagher (Play the King's Indian), Golubev (Understanding the King's Indian), and Comas Fabrego (True Lies in Chess). 

Though these are all to some extent outdated theoretically, they have some good discussions of strategic themes and move orders. I especially liked Comas Fabrego's coverage.

Hi,
I would like to study the variation 6…Na6 in the KID
(1.d4 Nf6, 2.c4 g6, 3.Nc3 Bg7, 4.e4 d6, 5.Nf3 0-0, 6.Be2 Na6)
Where can I find this?
I know there is a video by GM Perelshteyn.
Has anybody watched this video?
Do you know any other sources for this variation, is there anything available in chess publishing?
