I have Aagaards book, and I use to have the other new book on the stonewall by Iver Bern - I believe they both assert that the reader should not play 9...exd5 in the mainline. Instead they recommend 9...cxd5, but then white has Nc4, which gives him a stable edge. Anyway, I did some analysis with Houdini 1.5 on the Magnus Carlsen game below. 9..exd5 seems playable, so what is the big problem?

This position was discussed already in detail in the book 'Win with the stonewall Dutch', see page 213 and considered as ok for black.

The only difference with the book, is the move-order. You propose b6 before 0-0. Who profits from the different move-order? My intuition says 0-0 must be before b6 but chess is a concrete game and sometimes intuition isn't correct.

Instead of 10.Bb2 in your move-order, also 10.Bf4, 10.Nd3 have been played in the past by strong players. White can also play a very interesting pawnsacrifice with 10.Qc2 or 10.Nd2. Just have a look to the following non forced variation to grasp the idea of this pawnsacrifice:

The safest is of course just to play 10...0-0. This is a position which I discussed in detail already on http://www.chesspub.com/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1245104259/210#210 ;
I recommend to once go through the complete old thread as many other critical lines were discussed in detail.

IIRC, the Bern book advises Black to stay away from the 8..b6 move order altogether, but recommends that if you play it, you should play 9..exd5.

Another source you may be interested in is Moskalenko's Revolutionize Your Chess, it has a chapter on how he prefers to handle the Stonewall ML.

If I remember correctly it involves postponing ...b6 in favour of developing moves such as Nbd7, 0-0, Ne4 and perhaps ...a5. Many times you don't even need to play ...b6 to activate Bc8.
