The lines 1. d4 Nf6  2. c4 e6  3. Nf3 Bb4+  4. Bd2 a5 5.Nc3 b6 and 5.a3 Bxd2+ 6.Qxd2 d6 7.Nc3 0-0 are covered by transposition in Eingorn's 2012 repertoire book on 1...e6. (5.g3 isn't covered since his repertoire is designed to avoid this line.)
As an aside, in the Nimzo, there is absolutely no reason to play 4...a5?! in response to 4.Bd2.

Thanks I'll have to look into that as I'm considering switching to the French too.  And I agree with your assessment of 4...a5?! in the given Nimzo move order, but I'm just starting to play these openings, and was hoping for a transposition into something more theoretical, and I got my wish  Grin

The only book I know of that covers this line in depth is Pedersen's 'Gambit Guide to the Bogo-Indian' but perhaps Sielecki will be covering it in his upcoming repertoire book. Yet I have a feeling he's covering 4...Qe7 instead. For online sources, ChessPublishing is probably your best bet.

Best analysis of Bogo Indian 4. Bd2 a5

Hi everyone again I am seeking a book or online analysis recommendation, this time for the line in the Bogo Indian that begins 1. d4 Nf6  2. c4 e6  3. Nf3 Bb4+  4. Bd2 a5, and even more particularly 5. Nc3 (since I can also reach this -- and have -- by transposition from a Nimzo: 3. Nc3 Bb4  4. Bd2 a5  5. Nc3)

Thanks in advance
