	Some random workround for an odd bug in some engine at some point I guess. Once that sort of thing creeps in it often hands around past the point of having any purpose

In Fritz_11, under menu Tools > Analysis > Shootout (and I think in some other menus too), there is a checkbox control to optionally - "Skip Even Plies": Help says: "allows you to avoid the weakness of some engines at even plies." What is this supposed weakness? Why would such a weakness exist? Does Fritz_11 suffer this weakness? -------------- (P.S. The new CSS or whatever for this forum website has two major flaws. {A} I can no longer Preview my draft post. {B} All the dates are gone. 2014-July-04 Friday 23:08pm, Seattle WA USA. ) .
