Anand is an expert at fortresses, I'm expecting him to hold this. Hopefully time pressure won't cause a major blunder and ruin the game.

Objective achieved - we're 8 minutes away from entering the 5th hour. The general consensus seems to be this game will end in a draw, but at this point a 6-hr game would be almost as good as a win.

Carlsen should try to keep this endgame alive for as long as possible. A 4-5 hour game would tire Anand a bit for tomorrow's game, when Vishy would really need to use a lot of energy trying to win.

I think white has some winning chances here (after 28...Ne5). I hope for the match that Anand doesn't manage to mess up here ...

Carlsen still in prep and Anand on his own. Good! The chances of an uneventful 2-hr draw are going down. 

28.Ng3 on the board. Magnus has nearly 40 minutes more on the clock.

Main line Berlin today.

The plan is probably to exert nagging pressure against Anand today. Giving up an easy draw in the second white game would be a bit of a counter-blunder...
