I already have CB12, but was thinking of buying CB13. Mainly for the possibility to access the databases via the cloud. However, it is only said that this will be available in the future, which sounds very vague. I read proustikeens review and based on it I might wait. In the meantime, I still have a very basic question:

Chessbase charges you the same price for upgrade as the download version. Is there any advantage at all of getting the upgrade version? I can't figure out the strange way they've done the pricing.
