I agree that this is already a pretty small subdivision. It's not as active as those large opening sections, and I'm not sure that the division will really help. Quite a few of the questions deal with cross-sections of mobile phones and analysis engines or analysis engines working with databases and tablebases.

I just think it'a unnecessary at this time.

I like the idea, but I could also see just leaving it, since "Computer Chess" is already a relatively small subdivision of chess by itself.

If you do decide to change it, I like your groupings, but they don't account for questions of chess hardware, e.g. computer models, tablets, etc.

I'm thinking of sub-dividing this section like I've done with the opening sections. My first thought was 'Chess Databases', 'Analysis engines' and 'Mobile Apps', but I'm open to suggestions.
