11..Nxd2!? 12.Qxd2 with something like ..Qd7 13.Kg2 Nc6 14.Rac1 Ne6 15.f4 g6 16.h4 c5 17.Nf3 Rd8 18.h5 O-O is actually a really interesting position.

How did the 13...Cc6 get to e6 in one move ¿  Cheesy

Did i not mention its a 2 tempo horsey  Grin

Sorry about that. Tiredness kills!

Has anyone tried the 5. Dc2 Ab4+ line ? Whilst waiting for QID repertoire book by Roïz, I must say that this 5. Dc2 c5 gambit line can be quite annoying.

I have Greet's book and after 12. bxc3, he offers 12...Dd7, but also a sidenote with 12...c5. I am sure that Bologan has something for 5. Dc2 anyway.

In my view the important factors are white's strong d4/e5 pawnchain and his chances on the kingside.

Maybe I may be wrong, but this looks like a good Winawer structure. That dark square bishop of White with all of the pawns on c3/d4/e5 looks unhealthy. And the light squared bishops are exchanged.

I prefer Black here, but mostly because I tend to lose these type of position as White Cheesy

Nonetheless, I am excited for this DVD.

Hi,
A strategic weapon against 1.d4: The Queen's Indian Defense by Bologan will be a new DVD by Chessbase.
He said in the preview that he will give a repertoire with ...Ba6. But what will he give against 7.d5 (4.g3 Ba6 5. Dc2 Bb7 6.Bg2 c5)? That was for me the reason to switch to QGD. Are there any news which give black an easy life?
greetings
wolfsblut
