I'm getting on board with Bologan's plan, to meet e4 with e5 learn more about chess, not just to learn more about openings.

Took me over 30 years to realise that. Let's hope I can keep at it in the next 30  Wink

Agree, it does look impressive. Monumental stuff, wow. 
I really liked the non-Ruy book too. The fella really tries hard to explain ideas to readers. Much respect to his efforts in this regard - he is quite the educator.
Am buying this... (much to the chagrin of wife and bank manager, no doubt).

I normally hate threads trying to advertise or promote books before they are published, but having looked at the table of contents and index of this book, I must say I am flabbergasted. This covers every thing you could think of and gives not just one choice of main line, but in both lines (Marshall/Breyer) various options for Black.

Having said that lets wait until we see the contents to confirm it is brilliant  Smiley but this looks very promising.

Does anyone know what is going on? It isn't on the "coming soon" list anymore, nor on the "what's new" site. And Amazon is claiming January 2016 for the title. I was hoping to get an excerpt soon because after for some months being advertised as published in November, some days ago the site said even October 2015. I have no idea what this means but I want this book!
