	If the Nimzo is too dangerous for your heart condition, what do you have planned for the Benoni, King's Indian, Benko, Grunfeld, etc?

	Burgess's Cunning Opening Repertoire for White is a 1.d4 2.Nf3 repertoire that completely avoids the Nimzo. Against most continuations White continues with 3.c4, but 1.d4 Nf6 2.Nf3 e6 is met by 3. Bg5 and Burgess's old favorite Torre under good conditions. I use other parts of his repertoire. The best source on the main g3 lines against the QID may be Peter Wells's Queen's Indian Explained, which I recently discovered and now use.

	Maybe there is a gap in the market here: Not many repertoire books cover 1.d4 Nf6 2.c4 e6 3.Nf3 for White, and it's especially hard to find main lines against the Queen's Indian and Bogo-Indian given in such a format. The White part of the Kaufman repertoire has it, but the coverage is a bit thin (as is a lot of that repertoire, given all he tried to fit into one book). So you need to do some research and fill in some blanks yourself, which is not really a bad thing. Palliser's Play 1.d4! was good, but is getting a bit old now. He gave 3.Nf3 with 4.e3 against the Queen's Indian, 4.Nbd2 against the Bogo-Indian and sound sidelines in the Queen's Gambit. For the Queen's Gambit parts (3.Nf3 d5), the White According to Kramnik series was very serious and main line-based. Or you could switch to the Catalan with 4.g3 and follow the Avrukh series. Avrukh also has you covered with the Fianchetto against the Benoni and some transpositions to the Bogo-Indian, though I believe there are some Bogo lines where he tries to make use of his delayed Nf3 to put the knight on e2 instead. There are some specialized sources for the White side of the Queen's Indian: Chess Stars have The Petrosian System Against the QID by Beliavsky and Mikhalchishin (on the a3 lines). On the g3 main lines there is a book by a couple of Turkish authors on the gambit line, 4.g3 Ba6 5.Qc2 Bb7 6.Bg2 c5 7.d5 (if I recall correctly). And Jan Gustafsson did a Chess24 video on the White side of the Queen's Indian based on AlphaZero's games, where d5 gambit lines also featured heavily.

	Burgess's A cunning Chess Opening Repertoire for White avoids the Nimzo and, more recently, Smith's e3 Poison does too.

	There's Palliser's old repertoire Play 1.d4, which you can get used copies of, (or get on the Kindle). Kaufman's repertoire for White and Black can also be played without the Nimzo, and includes a chapter with coverage on how to do so.

	I want to play 1.d4 but I would like to sidestep the Nimzo ( too dangerous for my heart condition ). Does that book exist? I mean a book that study the ragozin, queen’s indian, Vienna etc. No Nimzo please.
