So there's no chance you'll write a book called the Disreputable Caro Kann? With 5...gxf6 (Bronstein-Larsen) and 5...g6 (against the Panov)?
I meant nothing more ever on that book. Not nothing more full stop
But as for the Caro: almost certainly not. Though I have just checked my record: P43, W26, D13, L4 = 75.6%
Breaking that down:
B/L 5...gxf6 – P9, W5, D2, L2 = 66.7%
Panov 5...g6 – P8, W3, D4, L1 = 62.5%
3 e5 (mostly 3...c5) – P11, W8, D3, L0 = 86.4%
all the rest: P15, W10, D4, L1 = 80%
Not so many games really. I've only used 1...c6 as an "occasional" defence and in fact have only played it once in the past ten years.
Maybe I should go back and play it some more
