1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 Bc5 3.Nxe5 Qe7 4.d4 d6 5.Nf3 Qxe4+ 6.Be2 is pretty bad for black. I had this on the board once, see the attached pgn, with notes by the club organizer. He was about 2100 USCF but was not really careful with his annotations. Anyway you can put it in an engine. I have to admit in this game I played 10.Bb5 without really paying attention. The funny opening had its intended effect! After that I was worried about whether black could actually be winning. But my opponent never got his pieces coordinated.

I think of 2...Bc5 as the Mission Impossible Defense. It appeared in a 1968 episode ("A Game of Chess") of that television series, with the continuation 3. Nxe5 Qh4 4. d3 Qxf2 mate.

On 3...Qe7, I wonder what Black would play after the natural 4. d4.
