Another key line proceeds:
1. e4 c5 2. Nf3 d6 3. d4 cd4 4. Nd4 Nf6 5. Nc3 Nc6 6. Bg5 e6 7. Qd2 Be7 8. O-O-O O-O 9. f4!? Nd4 10. Qd4. Black normally proceeds with 10...Qa5. 10...Bd7 is a minor line, but not still not refuted IMO.

11. Bf6 Bf6 12. Qd6 Bc6 13. Qd8 Rfd8 14. Bb5!? Bc3 15. Bc6 Bb2 16. Kb2 bc6 17. Rd8 Rd8 18. Kc3 Kf8 19. Rb1 Ke7 20. e5 EO Survey:  1-0 (42) Navara, D (2735)-Jobava,B (2661) Gjakova 2016

So, you see, I'm not making this up. Black may be able to improve with 18...e5!? or 18...c5!

After 18...c5! 19. Rb1 h5 20. Rb7 Rd4, Stockfish prefers white slighty before concluding that all rook endgames are drawn.

12. e5 Be7 13. ed6 Bf6 is also possible and perhaps more interesting.

The Richter-Rauzer has been doing well lately in the modern-line:  1. e4 c5 2. Nf3 d6 3. d4 cd4 4. Nd4 Nf6 5. Nc3 Nc6 6. Bg5 e6 7. Qd2 a6!?8.  O-O-O Bd7!?

However, I'm still curious about the older line with 7...Be7. This was considered on Chessable in The Razor Sharp Rauzer Sicilian by FM Amro El Jawich. He made recommendations for both sides. After 7. Qd2 Be7 8. O-O-O O-O, he analyzed several ninth moves. New to me was 9. h4!?. It is every bit as dangerous as other ninth moves known to theory. El Jawich continued 9. h4! Nd4 10. Qd4 Bd7 11. Kb1 a6 12. f3 Rc8

I'm taking this as best play to this point and a critical poisition.

El Jawich continues with 13.g4 and 13.h5. I was curious about 13.Qd2. There is the cheap trick 13...Qa5?? 14Nd5 but that is not all. White has the plan of Ne2-d4. Play could continue 13. Qd2 Bc6 14. Ne2 d5 15. e5 Nd7 16. f4 f6!? or 16. Qe3 Bb5!? 17. Nd4 Bf1 18. Rhf1 Nb6!? 19. f4 Nc4 20. Qc1 f6 or 20...Re8.
