i was going over some games online and some from Kasparovs MGP. Was wondering what you all thought of young Fischers Bc4 in reply to almost all forms of the open sicilian. I was thinking of figureing a white repertoire around that move.

The rapid development seems rather nice and Fischers interpration was very nice to go over. I am preparing my openings for the US open in chicago this coming year just trying to solidfy my repertoire not go off and play an Owens,French, and Najdorf. Im gonna stick with the Najdorf untill after the open while keeping my french on the back burner and i would really like to play e4 as well. I got the chinese attack all lined up for the pirc. My Classical french is in line. My main line caro-kann is lined up to.

But this sicilian monster is somthing else. I dont want to go to the open with my smith-morra cause i knwo i can sheck the latest trends in Michigan but the united states and hte world are a bit tougher at my level. NIC doesnt apply to the u1500 crowd. So now im thinking i have to bucle down for the long hall. No more preparing for my opposition but more along the lines of playing the board!

Any comments on Fischers 6.Bc4 or is it not a good way to base a sicilian killing repertoire on?
