Looks like a Kingsindian where black touched the wrong knight. You might find it may be a Tango due to Nc6 and d4 and c4.

Otherwise I have no clue Grin

If nothing else works, a total pig-headed unwillingness to look facts in the face will see us through.

sources tell me it's

Modern defence, Averbakh, Kotov variation

but do not forget, a rose by any other name is still as sweet.

Hi all,

I wish u all a good new year 2007 !

I have several Questions about the following line:
1.e4-g6 2.d4-Bg7 3.c4-d6 4.Nc3-Nc6 5.d5-Nd4 6.Be3-c5 7. Nge2

1.) Does this line has a Name?
2.) What is most promising line for Black now and tell me WHY, plz
3.) THe Moves 7...e5 , 7...Nxe2 and 7...Qb6 are the ones i encounter in my praxis. Plz give me some easy advises how to handle the white position after each move. Thx so much !
