	I've been a QGD/exchange player for the last 10years and IMHO 13.e4 only works after 12...Qxe7. Against 12...Rxe7 the pawns should stay where they are for now and play should continue 13.Qd2 Ne6 and now 14.Rad1 is regarded as best but I consider it to be very drawish so what do you guys think of 14.Bc2!? as a possible alternative with the idea of following it up with 15.e4.

	Thanks you all. I have found a game with 15.e5 c5 and White had nothing after 16.dxc5 Rxe5 17.b4 a5. Of course after 15.Rf2 Black also plays Ne6 and pawn d4 is under pressure once again. I have also considered (after 15.Rad1 Ne6) 16.e5 but doesn't g6 solve the problem of Nh5 (17.Ne4?? Nxd4)? I begin to feel that 13.Qd2 is White's best chance indeed. Some strong guys have played it, overall with decent results.

	In the line with 12..Qxe7 13.e4 dxe4 14.fxe4 Bg4 15.e5 is the recipe, playing to restrict the Nh5. Here, Black played 12..Rxe7 instead, but I would be tempted to try the same idea after 13.e4 dxe4 14.fxe4 Bg4 15.Rad1 (here 15.e5 can be met by 15..c5) 15..Ne6 and now 16.e5.

	If I've got the position right, after 14...Bg4 my twic database gives only 15 e5 and 15 Rf2 as the moves (with black scraping one draw after one of the 15 e5 games and losing 5). The point of 15 e5 is to follow up with Ne4-d6 it seems, and 15 Rf2 has Raf1 as the follow up.

	Maybe 13. Qd2 could be the better path to maintain a slight pull?

	I know I've made some very poor decisions recently, but I can give you my complete assurance that my work will be back to normal. I've still got the greatest enthusiasm and confidence in the mission.
