	This is a really good question, and suggests that someone ought to write at least an article about this line. The best suggestions I have are: 1) The Big Clamp by IM Lawrence Day discusses some games reaching his desired "clamp" system via the Chigorin -- see here for more info: http://kenilworthian.blogspot.com/2011/02/big-clamp.html 2) In his book Chess Gladiator, Asa Hoffman annotates some of his games with the line (https://www.amazon.com/Chess-Gladiator-Asa-Hoffmann/dp/1879479311) 3) And I think Kasparov annotates a Chigorin game with the line in his Great Predecessors.

	Chapter 9 of How to Beat the Sicilian Defence by Gawain Jones has the type of explanatory treatment of 2. d3 d5 3. Qe2 arising from a Sicilian move order from the White side. This is a sample games section from a repertoire book so keep that in mind.

	Was the Qe2 line given in Chris Baker's startling opening repertoire? (i seem to remember it was used in an opening repertoire some time ago, but not which one).

	If you are member of chess24 you can find 2 videos of Vallejo Pons inside the video series "1.e4! Alekhine, Francesa y Escandinava" explaining the Qe2 variation for White. Even if you dont understand spanish, Paco's arrows explain everything

	Thanks... I was just wondering if this line was ever covered in some detail, especially with verbal explanations of the main themes, either from White or Black's point of view. Perhaps that is going to happen in the not too distant future!?
