I am very curious which lines Schandorff chooses against the Two Knights Variation and against the Fantasy Variation. Are they the same as in his previous work or does he now chooses something else?

Schandorff too gives 7...Qd5 with a bit more detail.

Interestingly he doesn't list "Win with the Caro-Kann" in his bibliography.

What can be seen from the variation index Schandorff only covers 6. Bf4, Bc4, Nf3 and c3. Maybe 6. Bd3 can be found as a sideline in the book.

The most trendy line, that's for sure, but he also authored couple of CBM articles on 7...e6 in old classical and I expected him folowing this way. I'm not sure whether there was any recent development that made this line problematic for Black, or was it purely stylistical choice.
